Grown at an altitude of 1275 MASL at the Suchiang family farm based in Shangpung, West Jaintia Hills region in Meghalaya.
The crop has been cultivated using traditional methods of farming by local tribal people, without the use of any chemicals and pesticides (not certified organic).
Most of the workforce found at the Suchiang family farms are women from diverse backgrounds who meticulously craft the harvest, while enjoying financial independence as a fruit of their labour.
Imported and packed in Australia by The Sabor Co., the product packaging comes complete with traceability information including farmer details, farm location, harvest date, and more.
