Product Information

Commercially manufactured onion flakes made from white Indian onions that have been ethically sourced from a single farm in  Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Cultivated on a 50-acre farm alongside other crops including bananas, soybean, and cotton.   

These onions have been procured directly from farms, cleaned, minced, and then dehydrated to be made into onion flakes.

Manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility by Jain Farm Fresh, a leading food manufacturer in India that also happens to be the second-largest dehydrated onion products manufacturer in the world, processing close to 54,000 metric tonnes of dehydrated onions on a yearly basis.

Farmer welfare, environmental safety, traceability, good agricultural practices (GAP), and food safety are the top priorities for Jain Farm Fresh throughout its operations.

GMP, HACCP, SPC, Food Safety, and other quality management systems are applied throughout manufacturing and storage.

Their production facilities are accredited with ISO22000 and the food products being manufactured are Kosher and Halal certified.

This product has been imported from India by The Sabor Co. and packed locally in Australia. For further product information including lot no., expiry date, and allergen information please refer to the packaging label.

Rehydrate by placing the onions in hot water for approximately 15 minutes. Put it in your soups, dips, lentils, mashed potatoes, or marinades for that extra layer of savouriness.
