Our garam masala uses 12 different (mostly farm-sourced, Grade A) spices just as our grandmum would make it at home.

The ingredients are carefully roasted before blending to create a well-balanced flavour profile – a warm, earthy, nutty, and spicy blend.

Garam masala is the most commonly found spice blend in India, with every region and family having their own take on it.

Garam translates to hot and masala refers to a mix of spices, however, it is not the heat that this blend is known for but rather the warming properties of the spices that these spices have on the body. Spices such as cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pepper are key ingredients in this blend, known to increase the heat in the body as per Ayurveda, an ancient healing system that originated in India.

This product has been proudly blended and packed in Australia without the use of any artificial colours, preservatives, fillers, or any other nasty stuff!

Nagaur cumin Seeds, Nagaur coriander seeds. Idukki cloves, Idukki green cardamon, Idukki peppercorns, cassia, black cardamom, Pollachi nutmeg, Pollachi mace, bay leaf, and star anise.  

Garam masala is an essential ingredient in chicken curry, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, lentils, palak paneer, matar paneer and many other Indian dishes.
